When you need temporary protection, covering or shelter, there hasn't been too many options available. We are use to heavy tarpolins that cover a small roof area and need to be tied down with ropes. These conventional tarps take a long time to install, cause further damage and need to be regularly maintained.
Well, now there is a new system that is lighter, quicker and stronger than the old canvas tarpolins ... MakeSafe Tarping. Covering an entire house in a single roll (approx. 180 sq/m), MakeSafe Tarping is a light weight alternative that is durable and long-lasting. Moulding easily to the most complex rooflines, MakeSafe Tarping is able to be cut around penetrations (such as pipes) and does not interfere with the collection of rainwater. When disaster strikes ... make your roof safe with MakeSafe Tarping! Check out the product: |

Since Innisfail was devestated by Cyclone Larry, MakeSafe Tarping has been at the heart of the restoration work. Michael Bentham (Mick), the owner of MakeSafe Tarping and Certified Roofing, spent a lot of time away from his young family to ensure the people of Innisfail received the best possible service from his company. While many houses are still in need of roofs and roof repairs, Mick has decided that his family and rapidly growing company need him. So, while he has made many friends during his time in Innisfail, MakeSafe Tarping now has his full attention and Mick is excited at the prospects of steering his company through the exciting times ahead as his company grows from strength to strength. |

As a sponsor of the Red Frogs program at Schoolies, MakeSafe Tarping helps raise funds to assist year 12 school leavers while they are on their 'schoolies' week. The Red Frog team is a fantatsic support network for these young people ... being there to provide guidance and direction during this important event in their lives. Going into the 11th year of operations since its conception the program has attracted community service awards, formal community recognition, involvement by sporting personalities, youth pastors, youth workers, social workers, and has had extensive media coverage on all major television and newspaper networks nationally. Red Frogs is unlike any other support network during Schoolies week. They provide a safety net and prevention strategy for school leavers. They also know what really goes on and work with a wide variety of other organisations, from Gold Coast City Council to Queensland Ambulance, all to provide the best solutions for school leavers.
